Calier Despadac Max 1 L

Despadac Max 1 L is a concentrated biocide for the disinfection of facilities, surfaces and equipment used in livestock farming or veterinary practice. It has bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal properties and is diluted in cold water before application.

It can be used in barns, premises, enclosures, kennels, veterinary clinics and other facilities where animals are housed. It is also suitable for utensils, machinery, means of transport and sanitary wash-down areas. It can be applied by wiping, spraying, immersion and aerial disinfection, in accordance with the instructions on the label.

• It allows for different dilutions to be adjusted according to the level and method of disinfection.
• It remains effective against viruses, bacteria and fungi even in the presence of organic matter.

• Glutaraldehyde: 8.5 per cent.
• Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride: 11.9 per cent.

• Excipients up to 100 per cent.

Prepare the solution with cold water and follow the instructions on the label:

• Routine disinfection of premises: 25–30 ml in 10 litres of water.
• Standard disinfection: 40 ml per 10 litres.
• Intensive disinfection: 70–100 ml per 10 litres.
• Airborne disinfection: 50 ml in 10 litres.
• Utensils and means of transport: 50 ml in 10 litres.
• Sanitary footbaths: 100 ml in 10 litres.

Allow the area to dry or ensure a minimum contact time of 15 minutes. For utensils to be immersed, keep the items in the solution for at least 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly with water where appropriate.

Calier’s documentation demonstrates activity against the African swine fever virus and the avian influenza virus in accordance with the amended EN 14675 standard. In both cases, a concentration of 0.2 per cent and a contact time of five minutes are specified under the conditions set out for each test.

• Read the full label before preparing the dilution.
• Do not mix the biocide with other products.
• Use in well-ventilated areas and always in the absence of animals.
• Observe a 12-hour waiting period before re-introducing animals, or 24 hours following fogging or thermal fogging, and ensure adequate ventilation.
• Remove any residue from surfaces and utensils that will come into contact with food or drinking water.
• Do not reuse the container and dispose of any remaining product in accordance with the applicable regulations.
